From the perspective of a veteran "Red Tails" is a heck of a movie.
332 is a fighter that has been entirely by the pilots and ground black. I have not seen a movie about black soldiers that moved me a lot since I saw the "Gloria" for many years.
Film Critics, looking over his shoulder, I can report defects and emotional things in the "Red Tails." Some did not like "Saving Private Ryan", either. This is a movie about black pilots who fought against all forms of discrimination and its leaders who fought to give them the status of real fighting.
Flew his first P-47 Lightning elderly to cover the landing, which can only be had in Anzio. Then I got the greatest job, and watching the terrorists who flew over Germany.
For this work and we got the new Mustang P - 51, and decided to paint the nose and the tail is bright red. Thus, the "Red Tails."
The story is that the pilots always left for terrorists to follow the German fighters were just decoys. Then came the bombers pieces unprotected. When flying the Red Tails, and here to stay. Despite his desire to have ignored the traps in the battle did not work. The result? Decline in U.S. casualties suicide significantly.
Later in the film, Red Tails pilots and all officers, walking through the club official who usually are not welcome. But officials at the bar and bomber pilots, and red tails worth fighting men drink and sharing a story. It is the impact of the movement.
There are a lot of individual stories told here, and there is a strong bond of affection between the pilots and ground crews bold. There is the story of a love and conflict. But this joint work, recreation and al Qaeda fighters in Italy mud is amazing.
The "glory" for black soldiers in the Civil War, the great moments.
This story, about men in general are known as the Tuskegee pilots, it is less bloody, but exciting as well. The events of the novel take place in Italy, and finally in the skies of Germany.
But the story of the Tuskegee pilots dates back to 1939 when Congress reluctantly appropriate funding for the training of black men on the flight and maintenance of military aircraft. The army was not happy.
Training took place in the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. There was a group that has become Bombardment Group 477. This team did not see combat. However, the range of 332 fighter that a lot of what has become one of the most decorated units in the Air Force in the army.
One of the most powerful figures in the "tails Ted," is Colonel Benjamin O. Davis Jr., commander of the unit, who played high-level Pentagon fans to get their men fully in the war. Some fans simply ignore the successes bronze red tails. "
However, pilots of the bombers grew and equipment necessary to love them. Can be a real war in this regard.
With the success of the film. Newspapers, the discovery of the former Red Tails in the areas of circulation. Sometimes it is only because of a funeral. And these young people be bold to 90 years now.
Only one side. The Mansfield black military pioneers of its own, including the police, Joe Lawrence, former president and Hill Harper, who were among the first black Marines toward the end of World War II.
It is significant that President Harry Truman in the chapter ended with the military officer in 1948. Now blacks and whites together can be killed and buried in the cemetery itself.
I think I'd like to see a film about buffalo soldiers, black cavalry soldiers who fought in the West after the Civil War. They had white officers and served well. I think there was a movie about. I think that even saw. Was a "black sergeant?"
And should one day be a film about another team, a very decorated, and a team of 442 Regimental Combat Team that fought in Italy with great distinction.
Why? Because these American men of Japanese ancestry.
While their families languished in camps and stole their white neighbors bled all parts of the Japanese-Americans owned can get their hands dirty on the 442 died in the river RAPIDO in Italy.
Date Nisei troops need to be told. Most of whom served with the army and navy in intelligence operations in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
Japanese propaganda radio star "Axis Sally" called "the secret weapon of the United States." And Nisei
So let's listen to the Nisei. They are coming from the bat in the movies.
I hope all are treated as well as the "Red Tails."
